Costa Vida opened its very first location in Bountiful, Utah. Founded on a love of coastal Mexican cooking and a belief that fresh food changes everything, the doors opened to immediate warmth from the community.
Just three years in, Costa Vida earned its first regional culinary award for "Best Fresh Mexican Cuisine." The recognition validated our commitment to quality and inspired the team to reach even higher.
We expanded our menu significantly — introducing new coastal bowls, signature salsas, and a full catering service. Our housemade tortillas became a fan favorite that guests talk about to this day.
Costa Vida launched its local supplier program, partnering with Utah-based farms and producers to ensure the freshest seasonal ingredients. We deepened our roots in Bountiful and across the state.
To better serve our guests, we launched online ordering and a fully updated digital experience. Customers could now enjoy Costa Vida favorites with the convenience of delivery and curbside pickup.
